In the home, with family if you want.

Written care plan

How we work

CQC registered, and you should check that

JAD Care Services Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 08818027, incorporated in December 2013, with its registered office at 43 Nightingale Vale, Woolwich, London SE18 4EN. Providing personal care is a regulated activity and we are registered with the Care Quality Commission under [CQC PROVIDER ID].

Three things to check with any home care provider. CQC registration — look it up on the CQC website along with the inspection report, because providing personal care without it is unlawful. Enhanced DBS checks including the adult barred list, completed before a worker attends unsupervised. And how medication is handled: ours is given only by staff trained and assessed as competent, recorded on a medication administration record, and limited to what the care plan permits. We are not a nursing service, and this is not an emergency service — call 999 in an emergency or NHS 111 for urgent advice.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Why does CQC registration matter?

Because providing personal care in England without it is unlawful. Registration means the service is inspected and rated, and you can read the report before choosing. Check any provider on the CQC website.

Are your care workers DBS checked?

Yes — enhanced DBS including the adult barred list, completed before anyone works unsupervised, along with right-to-work checks and induction training aligned to the Care Certificate.

Can you give medication?

Within what the care plan permits, and only by staff trained and assessed as competent, recorded on a medication administration record. We do not change prescribed doses or give anything outside the plan.

Will it be the same carer each time?

Wherever rotas allow, yes, and we think it matters more than most things. Consistency is what makes personal care bearable for the person receiving it.

What is the difference between a sleeping and a waking night?

A sleeping night means the worker rests and is called if needed; a waking night means someone awake throughout. We will tell you honestly which the situation needs rather than selling the more expensive one.

Do you provide nursing care?

No. We provide personal care and practical support. Anything requiring a registered nurse is a different service and we will tell you where to go for it.
